Andreas Wenk

Cleo & You GmbH was founded in 2023 as a subsidiary of Uelzener Versicherungen and with the participation of You Are We GmbH in Hamburg. As an independent brand within the Uelzener affiliated companies, its aim is to complement the pet insurance market with Cleo’s world of needs-oriented products and to offer pet owners an insurance experience that is as unique as their pet.

Andy Wenk is an experienced CTO who has been with Cleo & You GmbH since June 2023. Since January 2023, he has been offering his expertise in IT and management consulting through his own company Web Vantage Consulting. He is also active as a freelance consultant at You Are We.

Previously, Andy Wenk was CTO at Digital Blast from June 2022 to March 2023 and held the position of Division Director IT and member of the Executive Board at sum.cumo from May 2017 to May 2022. He previously worked for the same company as Division Director IT from January 2014 to April 2017.

He started his career as Senior Software Developer at sinnerschrader from May 2010 to December 2013, followed by a similar position at NMMN from May 2007 to April 2010. Prior to that he was Senior Software Developer and Partner at voodoo-media from May 2005 to April 2007 and owner of Netzmeister ST.Pauli – Webdevelopment from September 2004 to December 2020.

Andy Wenk has also been a member of the Apache Software Foundation and PMC Apache CouchDB since 2008. With his extensive experience and commitment to the IT industry, he is a valuable asset to any team.
