Dr. Tina Klüwer Head of Department Research for Technological Sovereignty and Innovation at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

Dr. Tina Klüwer is a recognized expert, manager and ambassador for the topic of artificial intelligence and its implementation in business. As Director, she headed the Artificial Intelligence Entrepreneurship Center (K.I.E.Z.) from 2021 to 2023, an initiative of Science & Startups, the network of startup services of Berlin universities and Charité Universitätsmedizin. Before starting K.I.E.Z., Tina Klüwer was the founder and managing director of parlamind GmbH, a company for automation in customer service using AI and speech processing. Before that, she worked for over 10 years as a scientist at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Berlin.

Tina Klüwer is currently Head of Department “Research for Technological Sovereignty and Innovation” at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and a member of the Board of Directors of the AI Park. In addition, Tina Klüwer is and has been active as Chair of the BMBF’s Technological Sovereignty Advisory Board, an expert member of the German Bundestag’s two-year Enquete Commission and a member of the board of the German AI Association.
