Gertrud Kolb has served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Scout24 Group since September 2024 and has been a member of the Executive Leadership Team since April 2025. She leads the company’s technology vision and strategy, driving innovation across AI, data and analytics, platform architecture, and information security.
Before joining Scout24, she was CTO at eyeo, where she spearheaded the development of products such as the Adblock Plus browser extension and advanced solutions designed to support a fair and sustainably funded internet ecosystem.
Previously, she held several senior leadership roles at Axel Springer, including CTO for the national digital brands BILD and WELT. During this time, she was instrumental in building and scaling Axel Springer National Media & Tech.
Gertrud began her career in retail software development and brings more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of technology, product, and digital transformation. She holds a degree (Diplom) in Information Technology from the Technical University of Berlin.
